Burscough Bridge
A Southport to Manchester service passes Burscough Bridge Junction SB on 16 September 2010. Although the 'junction' suffix is a little redundant today, there used to be double track lines diverging to the right (towards Burscough Jct station) and to the left (towards Rufford) both of which joined the Preston to Ormskirk line, which can be seen crossing at right angles on the overbridge in the distance.
