It seems that there are no Sprinters trapped south of Ayr to operate a Stranraer-Maybole service while the Ayr station blockade is in place. The situation is not unique, here is a reminder of the sophisticated facility used for road/rail transfer at Invergordon to move the very same model of Sprinter when the Ness Viaduct was washed away.
