Hunts Cross
Two Merseyrail EMUs leave Hunts Cross heading for Southport on 22nd September 2018. The link between the 3rd rail line from Liverpool Central and the Warrington Central to Lime St lines can be seen. This allows EMUs to run into Platform 2 in an emergency but normal timetabled services all use bay platform 3.
