Messina Maritime
There are four sidings on the train ferry Messina with buffers at the stern end. These also have a hook up for on board train services, as seen here in June 2018, so the lights and air conditioning continue to work while the train is on the ship. Five passenger trains a day make the crossing each way connecting Sicily with Naples and Rome.
