Adlington [Lancashire]
Electrification of the Preston-Bolton-Manchester route is nearing completion and some new furniture has appeared at some stations. At Adlington the access route to the platforms has now received a new 'gate' with warning to passengers not to raise objects above the height of the bar whilst on the platform. 20th October 2018.
