The Mound
A 158 on a Wick to Inverness service skirts Loch Fleet and heads towards the site of The Mound station, marked by the modern bridge that carries the road from the causeway over the line. Behind the camera the trackbed of the old Dornoch branch runs along the southern shore of the loch See image 56133. 20th July 2016.
