Thirsk
The Down side waiting shelter at Thirsk Station, with the first northbound Grand Central working of the day to Sunderland standing at platform 2 on 11th July 2018. The shelter previously also served a main line face of the downside platform, as witnessed by the bricked up doorway seen at the right hand end of the front wall. Both up and down main line platform faces were removed some years ago.
