Edinburgh Park
A Dunblane to Waverley service calls at Edinburgh Park on 11 January 2019. Visitors with long memories may recall a hoarding in a lineside field in the 1980s announcing this spot as the site for a future Sighthill station. This sign weathered over the years and eventually fell down. It was only after Edinburgh Park itself was established that the station opened in 2003. The ticket machine at Waverley advised me that my ticket to Edinburgh Park was not valid via Southsea Hoverport. Good to know, if only to learn that we still had hovercraft.
