An Edinburgh service calls at South Gyle on 11 January 2019. South Gyle lost half of its daytime services when the new Edinburgh Gateway took them over in December 2016, but it was never very busy outhwith peak times. Strangely perhaps South Gyle is the terminus of two extended Borders Railway services in the morning, adding to Edinburgh's meagre total of crossrail services.
