Lancaster
Melancholy Moment. DRS 37402 'Stephen Middlemore 23.12.54 - 8.6.2013' stands in Platform 5 at Lancaster (Castle) station waiting to form the last loco hauled service to Barrow-in-Furness on 19th May 2018. The three years of loco hauled trains to Lancaster in the Sprinter era was a great time but all good things must come to an end. After this date the 37s were confined to the Barrow to Carlisle section and those services ended in January 2019.
