Fort Augustus Locks
A postcard view of SS Gondolier coming up the ladder of locks at Fort Augustus. Loch Ness is in the background and the abbey is in the background right. Gondolier was later sunk as a block ship at Scapa Flow in 1939. Not far behind the camera had been the swing bridge for the approach to Fort Augustus Pier. The locks are presently undergoing repairs (February 2019).
