Oakleigh Park
Oakleigh Park station, seen from brand new 717 007 from Moorgate to Welwyn Garden City arriving on 18th April 2019. This station was another 'afterthought', not opened on this 1850 section of the ex-GNR main line until 1st December 1873. By the 1930s, it had been renamed Oakleigh Park For East Barnet but became simply Oakleigh Park again in 1971. The now closed platforms on the centre tracks have now been fenced off, only the outer edges of the two island platforms now being served by local trains.
