The western terminus of the Kirklees Light Railway, which runs along the trackbed of the former Clayton West branch, is only around 100m short of the former Clayton West Junction on the line between Penistone and Huddersfield. The view taken standing at the western end of the south parapet for the former branch rail overbridge looking east, shows the adjacent overbridge for the Network Rail line and a farm accommodation bridge beyond.
