Appleby
I was standing waiting for the 1514hrs Northern service to Carlisle on 27th April 2019 and the signal was up. I was rather surprised to see so many people on the platform, and I did wonder why, but the arrival of 60009 explained that. My own train was delayed by about fifteen minutes but it was nice to see this steaming through Appleby.
