Lochmaben
The trackbed of the DL&L looking north west from Lochmaben on 20 May 2008, with the station site behind the camera. The double track through the platforms became single once again at this point with the route then passing the houses of Mossvale on the left before running below a road bridge just beyond. From there the line continued through open countryside to reach the next station at Shieldhill, some 3 miles to the west. For the view in the opposite direction see image 35751.
