Haifa East
Israel Railways No.707 gets a container train on the move in Haifa East yard on 31st March 2019. This is one of a small class of eight Alstom JT 42CW locos introduced in 1996. They have a maximum speed of 68mph and tend to be restricted to freight duties. They were immediately followed by the 42BW versions, which will reach 87mph and are extensively used on passenger services. Both classes look very similar to the UK Class 67s. The motley assortment of stock in the foreground are some of the exhibits at the Israel Railways Museum.
