Broadway
GWR King 4-6-0 6023 King Edward II is Tail End Charlie heading to Broadway during the G&WR Gala on 25th May 2019. You might think, having paid a lot of money to get the King to Toddington, they just might have given it a more prominent position but it seemed to be forever running tender first or tucked in behind 7903. I did find out, it was a GWR practice to have the pilot engine leading the train engine. Ah well.
