Nuneaton North Chord

In theory, in the 1960s, it was relatively simple to take a snap like this - there were freight trains everywhere all the time. Now you have to consult Real Time Trains and hold your camera over a palisade fence. 66014 (how old fashioned the EWS livery looks now) hauls train 624J from Middleton Towers to Arpley sidings. Only 14 bogie wagons, but sand is very dense.
