View of the atrium at Queen Street at the end of July 2019, when the extended platforms 2 and 3 had reopened and part of the new concourse had been brought in to use. Centre left is a class 385 at platform 2, below is the red of the new friction bufferstops. The dark area is the newly opened concourse extension bounded by the sunlit plywood site hoardings. In the foreground is the area of the concourse which is still under construction; the access ramp is out of frame nearer the camera. A Class 156 DMU can just be seen centre right at platform 6.
