Balornock Shed

A rare photo of an engine at the rear of Balornock shed. The pilot on the Sunday morning in October 1963 was working at the front of the shed and added an engine at the head of the line, inadvertently causing a clash of buffers. 45158's brakes were not applied and it sailed out of the back of shed, derailing the tender in the dirt, as there were no buffer stops.
