Whifflet North Junction
Looking north at the former Whifflet stations. On the left under the bridge was Whifflet Lower (Caley), above it was Whifflet Upper (Caley) and on the right was Whifflet (NB) which was an island platform accessed from the Caley Upper station. Iron Ore from Hunterston to Ravenscraig runs past on the left. At the time Whifflet (New) had not yet opened as the R&C line was chiefly used for freight and diversions.
