Masham
Construction work underway at the former Masham station in the summer of 2011. The station, which stood at the end of a seven mile branch which left the Leeds Northern at Melmerby, closed completely in 1963, although passenger services had ceased as long ago as 1931. The large site is now a caravan and camping centre. Photographed standing on what was the down platform with the station forecourt to the left, looking north towards the station master's house.
