Lockerbie
The 1311 Virgin CrossCountry service to Edinburgh leaving Lockerbie on 6 February 2008. The harsh winter sun is casting some interesting shadows on the lift towers of the recently commissioned footbridge. Prior to the opening of the new structure with its integral lifts, passengers arriving from the north with impaired mobility and requiring assistance were advised to travel to Carlisle and change to a northbound stopping train.
