Highworth
Even on the most enjoyable walks, there comes a time when you must go back. It was getting dark and wet, our fellow walkers had gone back to their car - so the ropes used as handrails by a missing bridge were a welcome sign that we had reached the end of the trail. They are just visible here through the trees - view looks towards Highworth in September 2019.
