Galashiels [1st]
Not every trace of the original Galashiels station has vanished. These gateposts look a bit much for an office car park; in fact this was the entrance to the station forecourt. From the photo the gates do not appear to be original (I didn't notice at the time). The light fittings are modern but the columns are cast iron.
