Looking east from Red House UWG crossing towards Abermule on 16 September 2019. It was in this area that on 26 January 1921 an eastbound express crashed head on with a westbound stopping service with tragic consequences. Unfortunately the lineside vegetation now prevents you from identifying the local landmarks that were visible in photos of the accident scene.
