Morecambe Promenade
Platform view at Morecambe looking back towards the main station building in 1992. By this time this island was the only one in use as excursion traffic had ceased in the 1980s. The Midland Hotel can be seen to the right of the picture. Following closure the line has been cut back around 300 yards and Morecambe Festival Market and associated car parks have been built on the site of the platforms and tracks.
