Bay Horse
From this spot, at the site of Bay Horse station, there is the sound of constant running water coming from the far staircase. Until 1960 this formed an access to the Up Platform from the still open subway under the line and which the water runs in to. TPE 350402 runs south on an Edinburgh to Manchester Airport service on 16th November 2019. The stair and subway have certainly deteriorated in recent years, See image 19844 from 2008, although the lighting has been improved.
