The Heritage Shunter Trust has a splendid collection of ex-BR locomotives at Rowsley, many of which are kept under cover in their shed. Getting the maximum numbers inside means there isn't much room for photography but here is most of the beautifully restored D2205 from the first batch of Class 04s, being one of only three of those to survive. It spent much of its working life around the North East and was in very poor condition before its restoration. Later 04s had larger wheels and improved cabs and the Trust has four of those in its collection.
