King Edward Bridge

Three railway bridges hold four trains crossing the River Tyne on 3 December 2019. A Cross Country Voyager crosses King Edward Bridge on the approach to Newcastle Central on its journey From Bath Spa to Glasgow Central passing a Northern Class 156 heading towards Hexham on a service from Middlesbrough. Barely visible even at full resolution to the rear of the Voyager is a Tyne and Wear Metro unit crossing Queen Elizabeth Bridge towards Gateshead whilst to the left of the tower crane in the distance a Scotrail liveried Class 156 on the High Level Bridge awaits a path into the station.
