Morecambe Promenade
Looking out to the platforms at Morecambe Promenade in 1992. Hanging baskets had been a feature of the station since it opened but towards the end of its railway days the greenery was getting a little out of hand, perhaps due to the amount of damp inside the concourse. Nowadays this view would look out of The Platform fire escapes towards the Morecambe Festival Market building.
