Aberdeen South Signal Box
Viewed from the signal box on a visit was EE Type 4 loco 40064, which had just arrived from Guild Street Goods see image 70630 and was heading south possibly to Ferryhill MPD. By this time these locos were not generally hauling long-distance express passenger trains but this example was still used in that role as well as on freight duties.
