A Northbound Marches unit approaches Cwmbran (=Crow Valley) on 21st April. In the background, a supermarket has been built; and further work is in progress; on what was once the Lucas Girling truck brake factory car park (many of the employees live within walking distance of the factory). Where the buildings are visible immediately adjacent to the tracks in the background, there was once a single siding to take wartime defence products out of the Lucas factory; which is still in business under new ownership.
