Swindon
A short trip to London on 22nd March 2019 had an eventful return journey. The 1345hrs from Paddington was cancelled at Swindon due to an ill passenger and everybody was put on the 1445hrs HST set. It was rammed and I had to stand from Swindon although my wife managed to find a seat in first class! Eventually we reached Bridgend an hour and a half late and the cancelled set was right behind our HST! A Bristol Temple Meads bound service pulls into Platform 3 at Swindon while the cancelled Swansea service sits on Platform 4 waiting for an ambulance.
