Pickering

Standard 4MT 2-6-4T 80135 just arrived at Pickering station with a NYMR service from Grosmont, in June 1982. This locomotive was built at Brighton Works and entered service from Plaistow shed on 30th April 1956. It moved to Shrewsbury in 1962 from where it was withdrawn after less than 10 years service on 24th July 1965. It languished at Woodham's scrapyard at Barry from January 1966 until arriving at the NYMR in April 1973.
