Darlington's Siding
New Years Day and Class 37s in T&T mode haul a Derby to Carlisle Network Rail Test train north on the WCML just north of Darlington' Sidings SB. The sidings were on the left as was a connection to the Blainscough Colliery branch. The WCML used to be 4 track at this point (between Standish Jct and Balshaw Lane Jct) however almost immediately after electrification the former slow lines were removed.
