Herston Halt
The site of the future Herston Halt station on the Swanage Railway in June 1982. The view is towards Swanage with the run round loop completed, although the track only at that time ran to a headshunt behind the camera. Some wagons, a van and brake van sit on the through road but the platform, at this time, had not yet been constructed.
