Lockerbie
A Railfreight Class 90 hauling a Down passenger train along the WCML in 1991. Shot taken from the Douglas Bridge on the road to Quhytewoollen. There were signs of slope instability on the cutting to the side of the Up Main which was characteristic of the situation on some Scottish lines. The field above that (to the left of shot) is now a housing estate called Dryfe Park.
