LUL 1972 stock, currently the oldest on the London Underground, with a Bakerloo Line service to Harrow & Wealdstone departing from North Wembley station, on 18th December 2019. Harrow & Wealdstone station was another to escape the former BR regime's 1970s mania for shortening station names with an '&' in them. Indeed, the Bakerloo Line is the only LUL line that runs between two termini with an '&' in their names, Harrow & Wealdstone and Elephant & Castle. However, a much belated southern extension to Lewisham is on the cards but, as with Crossrail, don't hold your breath. A pre-World War Two scheme to extend the line to Camberwell was started but never completed after 1945.
