Straiton Sidings

The Rosslyn Chapel Way (Loanhead branch to you and me) has just crossed the boundary between Edinburgh and Midlothian here at the point where Straiton sidings went off to the right. The course of the siding is a path through a nature reserve. The path is almost unmuddy for about three days in midsummer. You can reward yourself with a McDonald's at the end of it, if that's your bag.
