Dess
Looking North towards Lumphanan at Dess in 1976. It is clear that an embankment has been removed before the bridge over the Torphins road. The granite wall has now been removed - probably sliced into 3mm thick panels to be bonded to the outside of breeze block bungalows to give them a more substantial and 'traditional' look.
