Breich
Lucky escape. Formal notice of closure of Breich station was announced on 21 June 2017, with notice withdrawn 5 months later. A report in 'The Scotsman' of 15 November 2017 reads 'Closure-threatened Breich Station, which has fewer than three passengers a week, has been reprieved after a public outcry.' The photograph shows a Glasgow Central - Edinburgh Waverley service pulling into a deserted platform 2 on 26 April 2018, with work on electrification of the route in progress on either side of the station.
