Maxwelltown Goods Junction
Descending the ramp to join Nunholme Road from the eastern end of the Mawelltown Railway Path in September 2009 (see 71016). On the other side of the road is the remains of the lowered eastern abutment of the bridge and embankment that carried the route on its last 250 yards to join with the G&SWR main line north of Dumfries station (see 6007).
