Nothing remains of Turnhouse station itself, but the somewhat modified 1897 station house survives. Turnhouse (with Lennie) is no more than a scattered hamlet but it gave its name to an RAF station and so in turn to Edinburgh's Airport for a while. It is now back to obscurity. Photographed incidental to my daily exercise permitted under emergency coronavirus legislation.
