The 17.30 Inverness to Edinburgh service, hauled by 47577, calls at Dunblane as services wind down for the coming holiday on Christmas Eve 1987. This loco (later renumbered 47847) was named 'Benjamin Gimbert GC' in 1981, but its nameplates had been transferred to 47574 earlier in 1987.
