Hillmorton Junctions
InterCity liveried Class 86 loco 86234 is seen passing Hillmorton, south of Rugby, at speed on a matching liveried WCML express from London Euston. The Northampton loop line can be seen on the embankment beyond as it diverges away from the main line heading south. The view is taken from the area of land that until a few years before contained Hillmorton sidings, and was fully accessible, via the track passing the former railway cottages, and was ungated and unfenced from the main line.
