Friarton Junction
Boy on a buffer stop. A young fan takes a seat in the front stalls as Black 5 44702 runs south over Friarton Level Crossing, three quarters of a mile south of Perth station, on Saturday 16 April 1955. The train is on its way from Dundee to Glasgow Buchanan Street. The crossing here was closed in 1962 and a replacement footbridge now links Breadalbane Terrace (left) and Friarton Road. See 67307.
