This bridge over the A8 carried the CR Leith branch just south of Murrayfield station. Lions from the Caledonian's crest bookend some more inclusive flora. As a sign of the times Wales was thought dispensable but Ireland wasn't. The original (or maybe last) colour scheme of red, green and blue has faded to shades of grey.
