Extract from the Scottish Region timetable for winter 1960-61 showing part of the North Berwick to Corstorphine table. Stations between Abbeyhill and Inveresk had additional trains on other services. The 'A' denotes a steam train. As the diesel it connected with ran out ECS could they not just have extended it to North Berwick? Restrictive practices, perhaps?
