Tralee Casement

Exterior of Tralee station, County Kerry, with quite rightly the Irish spelling, on 16th June 2017. This station, dating from 1859, is now the terminus of the broad gauge line from Mallow; until 1963, trains continued on a lengthy loop via Listowel, Abbeyfeale and Adare back to the main Cork to Dublin line at Limerick Junction. In recent times, there was talk of reopening the Limerick Junction to Adare section but so far nothing has come of this.
